Chinese New Year

Fresh Prosperity Yee Sang/Yu Sheng (Chinese New Year Salad)- LA ONLY

$ 68.00
The only source in Los Angeles for traditional "lou hei", the uniquely Malaysian/Singaporean "prosperity toss"! Stick your chopsticks in, toss it as high as possible with your whole table, and loudly call out your wishes for the new year. It's as rambunctious and fun as it is delicious!
Every tray is freshly made to order: a dazzling rainbow of grated ingredients, homemade "pok chui" (crunchy crackers), a mouthwatering plum sauce dressing, and all condiments and toppings made from scratch.
This year you get to choose: go vegan, or add fresh salmon sashimi* for full prosperity symbolism!
Serves 8-10. Contains wheat, peanuts and sesame seeds.
*Please note that salmon sashimi is raw, and should be eaten immediately. Do not store overnight. Consuming raw or undercooked fish may increase your risk of foodborne illness, and is done at your own risk.
*If you have allergies and would like more information regarding ingredients, feel free to ask!

The perfect New Year meal

Every one of the many ingredients in this dish was carefully sliced and arranged in a beautiful presentation, and after the traditional tossing, it all tasted great. Sam Tan's yusheng is exactly what I needed to make my New Year celebration feel complete.!

A taste of home

Everyone loved this, including people who'd never had yusheng before. The veggies were lovely and fresh and the pok chui crackers had both crunch and heft. The purple cabbage was a nice touch too. So happy to have this finally available in LA!
